Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport provides a total of more than 20,000 parking spaces, distributed between Terminals T1 and T2.
These include General, First-Class, Open-Air, Long-Stay, Express, VIP and Corporate Aviation parking areas, as well as special zones for motorcycles. The main parking areas are connected to the terminals by airbridges.
Tickets are issued automatically when vehicles stop in front of the barrier.

T1 General Car Park
The main T1 car park building at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airport offers direct access to Terminal T1. It is the best option for stays of fewer than four days, and for picking up or dropping off passengers. The rate is calculated per minute.
T1 Open-Air Car Park (Short and Mid-Term)
The T1 open-air car park is located just a few metres from Terminal T1 at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airport. This is the ideal option for a short or mid-term stay, or for picking up and dropping off passengers. It is suitable for vehicles with headroom over 2.20 metres. The rate is calculated per minute.
T2 Car Park
The T2 car park building at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport has ample parking spaces distributed in front of Terminals T2 A, T2 B and T2 C. This is the best option for stays of fewer than four days, and for picking up or dropping off passengers.
Express Car Parks Terminals T1 and T2
Located on the roadway to Departures in Terminal T1 and to Departures/Arrivals in Terminal T2 (A, B and C), for vehicles accessing the main entrance to the terminals – allowing users to park in order to drop off and pick up passengers quickly and easily.
The first 15 minutes are free and you can validate your ticket directly at the exit without having to go through the ATM.
Long-Stay Parking
The long-stay car park at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport is the most economical option for stays of one day or more, and the best option for parking your vehicle while on holiday or a long trip.
It is only a few minutes away from Terminals T1 and T2, and provides a 24-hour free shuttle bus connection: from April to September between 4.30am and 00.30am and from October to March between 5.30am and 23.30pm, every 20 minutes (on request at any other time – details at the shuttle bus stop).
There is a long-stay car park with approximately 1,015 spaces two kilometres away from Terminal T1, accessed by a regular shuttle bus (24-hour service).
T1 First Class Car Park
Located on the second floor of the north area (modules D, E and F) of T1 General Car Park, offering a special rate and the advantage of allowing direct access from your vehicle to the terminal building.
For access, you need to go to the General Car Park entrance located in the north area, drive to the second floor, and insert your ticket in the entrance barrier reserved for this service. You can pay when leaving at any of the airport’s payment points.
In addition, if you are a member of Aena Club Cliente, you can use the First Class Car Park for the same price as the General Car Park. Depending on the destination you can benefit from up to a 50 per cent discount.
VIP Parking
This is the closest car park to the boarding gate, enabling you to enjoy a custom service: you deliver your car to a VIP staff member at the terminal and it will be ready and waiting for you on your return.
VIP Parking is a closed area with security surveillance, and vehicle pick-up service at several meeting points: in front of Terminals T1 (Arrivals and Departures roadways), T2 A, T2 B, T2 C and Corporate.
Complementary services offered include boarding pass management, carwash, oil change, vehicle delivery to wherever the customer desires, and ITV (vehicle roadworthiness test).

The Corporate Aviation Terminal has a car park area located just a few metres away from its facilities, allowing passengers to reach their aircraft in seven minutes.
